When I say what a day, I mean we did a lot today! And it was a really nice day today. The sun shining, not a cloud in the sky. Garret and I rode Peak Nine all morning, working on spins - 180's and 360's.
In front of the Peak 9 Restaurant after lunch. We decided to head up to the very top of Peak 8, via the highest lift in North America, the Imperial Express, and hike to the top after riding the lift. We did it!. It was super-windy up there for the whole hike (10 min) and at the top. I took a few pictures and we bailed...great snow and steep!
Halfway down the bowl, looking down towards Breckenridge. What a grin!
Next, we headed down through the Freeway Terrain Park. The biggest terrain Park at Breckenridge, it boasts 65-foot jumps and the perfect superpipe. Garret hits the 30 footer in the next photo. Check out the video of him landing it.

Thanks for the comments everybody! I had a great day with Garret the other day. The last picture I just had to stop and take on our way down the last run of the day. The moon had started to come up over French Gulch looking over Breckenridge. I took that photo from upper Peak 8, on the run called Springmeier.

Garret, I'm planning to add some of the details of the skills we were working on that day. You'll be able to come back here before you go snowboarding again in California and refresh your memory about what you were working on, and practice those things on at Mammoth. Stay tuned!!

Garret,
Let me know when you’re coming up – maybe we can make a few turns together.
