We could use another snowfall. That said, I will take these 4 beautiful days up here. Mid day temps have been in the 30’s. I think our guests who are skiing this week are having a good time.
I missed Leah and Becca today. I guess the New Year’s Eve festivities caught up with them. Shear comedy and fun skiing with those two.
Leah skis fast, she was on my tail all day long. We were working on getting both legs turning at the same time. Her tendency was to use the strength of the outside leg and let the inside leg slide ahead. The caused the inside leg to be less accurate than necessary. When she was skiing Cimarron she used both legs well. I liked what I saw.
We will work on getting a more rounded shape on the top of the turn, and start working on the bumps. Her energy should treat her well in the bumps. We will be turning that energy into down the line bump turns.
Jessica skied great on Dec 31. This was a highlight turn taken on Cimarron on Peak 10. Great day Jessica. Way to turn the stripes on the legs.
Also, today it was fun to ski with the Gobal family from New York. What great kids. Lots of fun. Blue, Black, and Double Black runs.
Peak 7, P8, P9, and P10 including Horseshoe Bowl.
