Nov 29, 2006

We just came out of a 3 day storm Cycle. It is clearing now. Very cold temperatures today. The temps rose to 10 in the valley, and +2 at the top of Peak 8. There was a breeze, so wind chill was well below zero. Breckenridge reported 3". They continue to underreport. That is good if your are in the know. I shoveled 8" from my driveway. Last year we had numerous 5" knee high days ;-) Bring it on!

The front side of Peak 10, 9 (including E-lift), Imperial Chair and 6 chair are open. I would still avoid Peak 8 at this point. Wait until the next storm.

The temps are supposed to warm up this week. The skiing is very good on the open runs. I will give you another report as the conditions change.

keep sliding,
jon
