Finding the nightlife in Breckenridge

Breckenridge and Apres ski. hmm, Apres ski... Well that happens in Aspen. In Breck, people hit the bars. Here are a few places that you should be aware. And new a few years back the law was passed to stop smoking in the bars. That has been good for my ski clothes.

A. Best Taxi Cab in Breckenridge. NORTHERN LIGHTS TAXI- The town is small, but sometimes a taxi is just the best way to go. Dallas is the owner and driver, and he is great. 970.333-1418. Put this number in your cell phone before you rush out for the nightlife.

1. Burke and Riley's - It is relatively new on the scene, but it has gained a local following. Irish Pub.

2. Mi Casa - Margie and free chips and salsa starting at 3pm.

3.Salt Creek - beers on the bar stools. Dancing after 9

4. Gold Pan Saloon. Certainly the most memorable bar in town.
The Gold Pan is the longest operating liquor license west of the Mississippi and has all the character to back it up. There have been gunfights here too. You get the picture.

5. Downstairs at Eric's - go there for football games.

6. Cecilia's - Great drinks, excellent scotch and cigar selections. Friday and Saturday dance all night long.

7. Julius Caesar’s Lounge - Located behind the St. Bernard Restaurant on Main Street, the J.C. can be hard to find. Great specials every night and a laid back atmosphere draw locals and visitors alike. There is a DJ on Saturdays spinning great music and great tunes are played the rest of the week.

8. Breckenridge Brewery - The Breckenridge Brewery is known around town for great finger food, locally brewed beer, and a great atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. Beers like the Avalanche, Oatmeal Stout, and Breck Light can be tasted all year long while they offer seasonal beers throughout the year.

That's a start. Post comments to this page if you like.
Breck nightlife is tough to beat.

We don't see our amazing pictures anywhere on your site. . . What's the deal??

ps
I had a blast dancing last night. I'm inspired to take some lessons now!

Jon:

My bad. I hadn't published it yet. But now there is one! Breckenridge is awesome, ski and ride all day, swing dance all night.

Have fun in NZ. The states will miss you for a few months. Show the Kiwis how to swing.
