January 25, 2007 - January

Well still no new snow in Breck. The snow is still pretty good. The weather today was beautiful. Not a cloud to be seen, high 30's, low 40's. Not a breath of wind. Very warm on the south facing slopes. It had even became slight slushy on lower south facing slopes. East and north facing slopes were very good still.

I just thought I would put this video on to remember what skiing Pow looks like.

We were working on touch today. Instead of relying on power, we focused on working with the mountain without a harsh edge or overdone angles. We succeeded.

to your sliding success,
Jon
