Amazing days. It was the two busiest days of the year. But still not too busy. I want to short Vail stock MTN. It just doesn’t seem as busy as years past.

Amazing days. It was the two busiest days of the year. But still not too busy. I want to short Vail stock MTN. It just doesn’t seem as busy as years past.
The new storm has hit. Yippie. Those in Denver are going crazy again, you’d think it was Hot Lava not snow. Come on people, relax. Your not going to work tomorrow. You have a long weekend, rejoice!
At 9:45 I went up to the front bowl to sample some of the wind buffed snow. It was very good. Although not yet perfect velvet.
Maybe you noticed, maybe you haven’t. In ski country there are lines everywhere. Perhaps that is just an element of American culture. “If there is a line, it must be where I have to be.” hmmm…
Ho Ho Ho!
Temps 5* at the top, 12* at mid. Winds were 10-20 MPH. Pretty darn cold. I had 4 layers and still had a bit of a chill.
The snow in Breckeridge was varied. All good. But very different around the mountain. The temps started off cold. 3* @ 7:30. High teens by 10, and mid 20’s after lunch. Colder the better, because our skiing today was Hot.
Were you skiing when you were 5? Alex was. I still remember doing “froggie hops” with him on the Breckenridge “Vitoban” Poma. Well, not today!
Denver and the Front range was pounded with snow. 35" in Golden, CO. Wow. Breck is reporting 5". Well I just shoveled 6" from my porch.
Starting off as a snowy morning. 18* @ 7:30pm. It was not snowing as of midnight. We are expecting snow all day today and tomorrow.
Powder and Sunshine. Temps 10 to 30*. No wind. HOW GOOD IS THAT!!!
