We need a week of snow to really prep the mountain for our typically snowfall heavy Feb and March times. At 8am the temps are 15*. With a few inches on the hill. Here at the house there is about 2′.

January 26-28, 2007 – Level 9 Skiing in Breckenridge

The past few days have been great. 30’s and sunny. However, Sunday morning was cold. 0 at my house. -6 on the mountain. After my 8:30 morning run it was time to go for a breakfast burrito.

Well still no new snow in Breck. The snow is still pretty good. The weather today was beautiful. Not a cloud to be seen, high 30’s, low 40’s. Not a breath of wind.

I’m off the hill today. The days have been nice up here. No new snow. As of 8:30am it is a chilly 9*. I am getting caught up on lots of things today.

January 21, 2007 – Level 9 day

I arrived at the locker room with only the knowledge of a few inches of new snow and 13* temps. It was snowing throughout until about 2:30 and then light snow with partial sunshine.

Babes on Bumps – Day 2, Jan 19, 2007

Wow. After the deep freeze we were in for the prior 3 days, it sure was nice to have a day like this one. The temperatures were in the high 20’s with hardly a breath of wind.
