Well, there is skill skiing for those who want it. A-Basin is going strong. But for the major resorts, we are thinking spring and summer. It is snowing lightly outside as I write this posting.
As I was going through my photos on the ski year. There were more than 2000 images. So probably 5 or 6 thousand originally take. And very few in the morning half of the lesson (teaching time). Most in the afternoon (exploring time).
Enjoy the images
I took a bit of a break from the blog for these two weeks. We took a family trip to Denver, then a parents only trip to Las Vegas. The Vegas trip was sponsored by Leland Energy. I have been an investor with a Natural Gas project for some time now. Very good company. I highly recommend them to look at putting a portion of your portfolio into NatGas production. You can contact David Kane 310.821.3552 to find out more about the current projects, tell them that “MySnowPro” said, “Hi”. Regardless of your current investment strategies, these people a very nice, professional, and profitable. (They didn’t even pay me to say that.)
The reading is going well, I have some how managed to log more than 800pgs of reading. Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, Missed Fortune 101, The Ultimate Gift, Stocks Options and Collars, Way of the Turtle, and starting Wikinomics. Whew, I am not sure where I found the time.
This summer I will be doing a fair bit of riding, and keeping myself in good skiing shape as I prepare for the PSIA National Demonstration team. I have some work to do on cleaning up some of my maneuvers, and knowledge. I do think this website can bring much to the future of ski instruction and year-around interaction between student and teacher. Cross your fingers for me. I have much to work on in the next 11 months.
Scenery from the year
Look to the blog all summer long for some of the adventures in Summit County.
I will be putting together a video together of some of the year’s better clips. for now this lightbox gallery is going to have to do.
