Starting off as a snowy morning. 18* @ 7:30pm. It was not snowing as of midnight. We are expecting snow all day today and tomorrow. So far this week’s storm has not been a producer. Some evening and morning snow, and then a nice weather day. I will appreciate days like this too.
So far this winter has not brought many cold temps. It has been very pleasant.
I will be heading to the hill this morning to ski and train this morning. The Christmas crowds are not here yet. Breckenridge is pretty much booked out of rooms from Dec 24 through Jan 6. There are a few out there, but not many.
I should have pictures and more to this Snow Condition story this even.
Report 2 –
It continues to snow. Even harder now. 4″ in my front yard. Much more on the mountain. The dump is not of epic proportions, but there is a hard steady snow fall. Time to think about getting up this way. Last year was the best early season I had ever seen, but this year is pretty darn good. Horseshoe bowl and Imperial open before christmas, are you kidding? This is a great start.
Report 3 – Man has been snowing. All day long. No sign of a let up. 20 to 36 inches are forcast from this storm. Although Denver and the front range seems to be getting the brunt of the storm. We should get our fair share. I will write tomorrow night to let you know more.
