Colorado snow has been light this year, but the snow making crew has been providing. We have started receiving a few storm cycles in the Central Rockies, and that is helping quite a bit. I’ve been traveling a little for the powder days. Traveled to Monarch Ski Area last week for a day. They have received more snow this week as well. I am looking forward to planning a few MySnowPro.com trips this winter. Snowcat Trips to Monarch, Silverton, and Steamboat are in order.
Vail Resort just announced EpicMix for the 2010-11 season. Reliving your ski or snowboarding day into the evening. Bejeweled has nothing on this. The connection with Social Media should be fun for a number of uses. I am excited to see how this is used by the skiers and riders. It is a very compelling and free product. However, having a pass with RF technology will allow VR to collect your daily usage data. For some people that is no problem. For others, we feel we don’t need to give this data if we choose not to do so.
Lessons for Ski and Snowboard have been busy over this Christmas holiday. I have also been transitioning from Futures and Dollar Index Trading back to equity options and teaching skiing. In addition we have been growing the MySnowPro.com instructor database, and growing our Web 2.0 reach via Twitter. You can actually follow us @MySnowPro or me personally @JonnieLaw on Twitter.
Were you skiing when you were 5? Alex was. I still remember doing “froggie hops” with him on the Breckenridge “Vitoban” Poma. Well, not today!
Powder and Sunshine. Temps 10 to 30*. No wind. HOW GOOD IS THAT!!!
