Boy oh Boy have the past few days been fun.
Kaity’s 1st day of skiing, ever!! What do you get when an excellent ice skater learns how to ski? A quick learning skier. My motto, is “Do no harm”. As an instructor don’t muffle progress. Within 2 hrs Kaity was skiing green runs with ease. Here are a few shots from Kaity’s first day.
Taylor and I skied last year, and he improved dramatically. This year… a few runs in the morning to remember. Then we picked up the pace. Trees, half-pipes, and open bowls. We tried them all.
The snow has been very good. Sunday was crowded and warm. The lines were quite large on Sunday. Monday was much better. Crowds were up a little in the morning, but by afternoon the lines were down. Monday saw a variety of weather. Snow, sunshine, then overcast cool conditions.
I will be giving a more detailed report as the week goes on. Here are some fun picts of the week.
I have been proud of the accomplishments Taylor and the family. Here are some shots:
Tuesday and Wednesday have been a blast. One of the best powder days of the season was on Tuesday. Light snow, cool temps, and incredible sunshine. Absolutely fantastic. Andrea and George joined Taylor and me for a great day of powder skiing.
